Sofia Almeida completed her master’s degree in Biochemistry in 2023 at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her master’s project was titled “Molecular Mechanisms of Immunomodulatory Drug Resistance in Multiple Myeloma” in the Oncology and Hematology Laboratory.
She also graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Coimbra and began her research journey in the Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Laboratory group at the Institute for Clinical and Biomedical Research (iCBR).
Currently, she is a fellow researcher at the Intercellular Communication and Cancer Group, i3S, Porto, Portugal.
