Daniel is in the second year of the Master’s Program in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Department of Biology, University of Aveiro. His dissertation focuses on understanding and evaluating the efficacy of immunotherapies in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) patients with impaired Rab27a expression, under the supervision of Dr. Sónia Melo.
Daniel graduated in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences and started his path in several strands of clinical pathology and pathological anatomy within a clinical context. During this experience, he was drawn to the use of molecular techniques and clinical challenges, thus arising the research interest.
